Session 16: Neuropsychology and Psychiatry
Neuropsychology is the discipline which investigates the relations between brain processes and mechanisms on one hand, and cognition and behavioral control on the other. Neuropsychology is a branch of psychology. It's concerned with how a person's cognition and behavior are related to the brain and the rest of the nervous system. Professionals in this branch of psychology frequently concentrate on how injuries or illnesses of the brain affect cognitive and behavioral functions. Interdisciplinary group of psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, forensic psychologists, neuropsychologists, occupational psychologists and health psychologists based within the Institute of Mental Health and enjoying close links with topics related to the neurosciences and the behavioral sciences.

Session 18: Mental disorder / Mental illness
Mental health is the foundation for feelings, allowing, communication, literacy, adaptability and tone- regard. Mental health is also crucial to connections, particular and emotional well- being and contributing to community or society. Numerous people who have an internal illness don't want to talk about it. But internal illness is nothing to be ashamed of. It's a medical condition, just like heart complaint or diabetes. And internal health conditions are treatable. We're continually expanding our understanding of how the mortal brain workshop, and treatments are available to help people successfully manage internal health conditions.

Session 19: Anxiety disorder’s & Depression
Women experience depression more frequently than do males. Based on sex and age, some distinctions in how the melancholy mood presents themselves have been discovered. It frequently shows up in men as fatigue, irritation, and rage. They might behave more recklessly and engage in drug and alcohol misuse. Additionally, they frequently do not acknowledge their depression and do not get therapy. Depression frequently shows up in the form of sadness, worthlessness, and guilt in women. Depression is more likely to show up in younger children as school refusal, separation anxiety, and parent-related anxiety. Further information addressed at Brain Disorders 2023 Congress.

Session 20: Inflammatory Neurologic Diseases
Inflammatory Neurologic Diseases that manifest in the brain in a variety of ways can be brought on by systemic inflammation. People may develop cognitive symptoms like confusion or memory loss. Other typical signs, or "illness behavior," could be: Depression. Brain fog, or the sensation of thinking slowly and erratically, is one of the most prevalent signs of brain inflammation. Other typical signs of brain inflammation include fatigue, melancholy, anxiety, irritability, and aggression.

Session 21: Addiction & Therapeutics
Addiction is a brain disease that manifests as compulsive behavior because alterations in brain structure and function are key to its development and expression. The mesolimbic dopamine pathway is the area of the brain that drives addiction. The brain's reward circuit is another name for it. The brain receptors of an addicted person are overloaded. The brain adjusts in a manner akin to turning down a loudspeaker when the volume is too high by either creating less dopamine or by eradicating dopamine receptors.

Session 22: Ethics in Neurology and Legal Issues
Neuroethical concerns have emerged that fall into two categories: On the one hand, new methodologies and techniques pose issues for individual rights to privacy, non-interference, and inviolability by exposing brain correlates of human identification. In the ethics Neurology, legal concerns deal with laws governing people within a community, state, or nation, whereas ethical issues deal with norms or laws governing the behavior of members of a profession. Session 23: Animal models of Neurobehavioral Disorders
The foundation of Animal Models is the notion that numerous animal species share behaviors or diseases with humans. Rodents, fruit flies, C. elegans worms, non-human primates, and other animals are used by scientists to study many facets of brain function and behavior. In all fields of biomedical research, Animal Models are essential. Despite the long history of utilizing animal models in the examination of Neuropsychiatric illnesses and behavioral dysfunctions, the process of animal model design, development, and evaluation has seldom been addressed in a systematic manner. The development and evaluation of animal models is proposed as an iterative, multi-stage process. The first step in the process is to decide what the model's purpose(s) will be, preferably based on theories regarding the connections between brain and behavior. The model is then created and put to the test. Scientific and moral standards are taken into account in the model's evaluation.
